The Holy Ghost has given each Christian at least one spiritual gift that is to be used in service for the Lord. It is the responsibility of the Church to assist Believers in discovering their gift(s) and to place them in ministries that will allow them to develop and hone their gift(s).

Some areas of service are internal, "equipping the saints for the work of the ministry." Others involve outreach to the larger community.
